Social Care Wales

We have produced a range of communications for Social Care Wales, and the Care Council for Wales and the SSIA which are now part of SC Wales.

We created a hand-drawn video which looks at how the Social Services & Well-being (Wales) Act 2014 will affect service users. We developed this with the Social Services Improvement Agency alongside the Care Council and other partners, and is being used with members of the public and the workforce. This video is being used across Wales to communicate the Act, eg embedded on the Carmarthenshire, Denbighshire, Caerphilly, & Rhondda County Council’s websites, also WCVA and Dewis Cymru’s sites. This learning and development resource consists of:
A short animated film, which introduces key information about the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014 (the Act) and the principles that underpin it. A reflective interactive workbook that looks at how the principles of the Act can be applied in practice.

‘What does the Act mean for me?’

Social Care Wales commissioned us to create another video to explain the principles of the act, “What does the Act mean for me?’ and also used the video illustrations in the training workbook as learning and development resources for direct care and support workers. They also printed out slides from the video as posters on their ADSS conference stand.
