Simon Regan


Simon Regan is key member of the Scarlet Design team. He is our Photographer, large-format printer and also manages all of Scarlet’s video work, whether it is live action, hand-drawn animation or infographic style. With over twenty-five year’s experience, Simon brings the edge to our communications, setting us apart from our competitors. Simon works closely with Scarlet as well as with our clients, to discover how we want a product or service shown, Simon has a proven track record of delivering exactly what is required on time and on budget. His versatility, innovation, flexibility and a passion for his art, are all hallmarks of the service we receive when we commission Simon.

Sglein is the Welsh Facilitation,Training and Translation company that Scarlet Design partner with. Being a Welsh company, it is important that Scarlet can offer a bilingual option to all clients. Sglein develop people through training, so work in a very similar way to Scarlet. Huw Thomas is a Co-Founder of Sglein, his considerable experience of working with widely varying audiences has given him the ability to connect and engage with people at all levels. He believes strongly that encouraging and allowing people to consider their experiences and responsibilities in training is essential. Having worked extensively in customer service across several sectors, Huw worked in economic development for a number of years, honing his communication, presentation and training skills. Sarah Richards comes from a background of customer service and training and brings these skills to our work.

Barod is a training and information company who work with public, voluntary and private sector organisations to help reach all customers and clients with accessible information. The Barod team are experienced trainers in Accessible Information, Co-Production and in making an organization inclusive to reach people and communities.  Leading and presenting at a number of high profile conferences as well as developing innovative ways of making events more inclusive, Barod owners and work force are an equal mix of disabled and non-disabled people. They specialise in bridging the gap between public and private sector organisations and people with learning disabilities and grew out of the People First movement in Wales.

Barod assist Scarlet Design to produce, Easy Read Information, ‘Every Day’ English, Accessible video and audio recordings as well as wider audiences and built their experience working closely with people from different communities including people with learning disabilities, gypsy and traveler communities, people who have English as a second language, first language Welsh speakers and drug and substance misuse users.

Fran and Rob went to University together many, many years ago. Since then he has built a highly successful career in financial report and tender documentation design. In addition Rob has high levels of web design skills. He has bases in London and Porthcawl and works with us in a freelance capacity.
